The latest model year of the Ford F-150 continues the rugged Ford truck legacy, offering drivers serious power, tech, comfort, and versatility. The new Ford F-150 is available in six trim levels, seven engine options, and a long list of tech, comfort, and performance features. The full 2023 F-150 trim lineup includes XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited. The 2023 model year also gets some new off-road versions, which include the Tremor, Raptor, and Raptor R.

  

Performance

The Ford F-150 has nearly as many engine options as trim levels. The base engine that comes with the XL trim is a 3.3-liter V6 that makes 290 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. If you're after more power, then there's plenty of options to consider. The XLT comes with a turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 engine that makes 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. The F-150 also makes a 5.0-liter V8 available, which makes 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. Additional power can be had by stepping to a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 that makes 400 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. Moving to the Raptor trim level ensures even more power to the tune of 450 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. The Raptor R is brand-new to the 2023 model year, offering up even more power. The Raptor R comes with a 5.2-liter V8 engine that makes 700 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque. There's also a hybrid version of the F-150 that features a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 that makes 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque.

Technology

Tech features range greatly, with the base trim level coming with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity. Stepping to the Lariat ensure increased tech, thanks to a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment display. The King Ranch trim adds an 8-speaker B&O audio system along with wireless smartphone charging. The Limited trim takes things even further, adding an 18-speaker B&O audio system and a 360-degree camera system.

Interior Features

Comfort features vary from trim to trim, with the base XL trim coming with a humble set of rugged features and the top-level trim coming with near-luxury features. The base XL trim includes vinyl flooring, air conditioning, vinyl-trimmed seats, and seating for five. The XLT trim gets power locking doors, power windows, front seat lumbar adjustments, and carpeted flooring. The Lariat gets leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start, and heated/ventilated front seats. The King Ranch offers up heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and a power telescoping steering column. If you're interested in even more comfort, then the Limited trim is a must consider. The Limited trim comes with massaging front seats, a dual panel moonroof, and specialized leather upholstery.

Safety

Safety features abound, with even the base XL coming with a host of driver assistance features. The XL comes with lane departure and forward collision mitigation. The XLT adds in blind spot monitor, rear automatic braking, and lane keeping assist. The King Ranch adds adaptive cruise control and evasive steering assist. Other safety features include classic equipment like seat belts and airbags.
